LinkedIn is a useful website in terms of making connections and looking for jobs. LinkedIn advertises jobs, companies and people making it a great place to start when you are looking for jobs. It is also a good way of connecting with other people within your field, to get helpful tips or make friends that can be very valuable. Recruiters may also be exploring LinkedIn and so it is always possible that they will approach you with job opportunities once you’ve established yourself on there. It allows you to connect with people and for them to connect with you. It is a widely used source in many different careers and is ideal in finding any sort of job you need, including assisting or advertising jobs. Through LinkedIn I have already made 13 connections, 9 of which are people within fashion and advertising, most of whom are photographers. This has the potential to be very helpful as this may give me the opportunity to assist one of these photographers working in the field I want to be in or even just get some advice, any contact with these people are likely to be completely helpful.
