Dream Job.

I think it’s hard to say what my dream job would be. In all honesty, it changes from week to week. When I was younger I always wanted to be a fashion photographer for Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar but that seems rather far fetched recently. I think advertising for any sort of fashion would be perfect for me, whether that’s for high street shops, such as New Look, online stores like ASOS, or any other fashion aspect. I think it’s hard to know exactly what I want to do because I’m changing in myself frequently but one thing remains consistent in my personal life and that is fashion and makeup. From this I feel like any jobs in fashion and/or makeup would be perfect for me, and if that job means I get to take fun, creative images then that would be ideal.

I am often inspired by makeup and fashion advertisements and campaigns that I see on Instagram so this seems like something I would love to do. I would love to be able to bring my own or someone else’s advertising ideas to life with my photography skills. I have recently found a photographer named Marcelo Cantu who photographed a campaign shoot for a makeup brand that I frequently use. He has also worked with famous people such as Nicki Minaj and Kylie Jenner. His work is very striking and captures his audience well. This is something that I feel I would like to do as it combines my love of makeup and photography. Jessy J photographer used to be a model but has recently become a photographer who creates images for makeup companies, clothing companies and so on. Tom Johnson photographed models for an edition of the ASOS magazine which I really admired, I could’t find the exact shoot in his own archive but I did on the magazine website. I would like to do something similar to him and have my work featured in fashion magazines.
